Winter Cycling Clinic - December 10, snowy bike image

Has the cold weather gotten you down? Have you tucked your bike away for winter? Or are you braving the snow and ice on two wheels? If you’re a person who likes to ride a bike and are adapting to the changing seasons and transportation requirements, this is the event for you!

On Monday, December 10, join CycleWR and Ziggy’s Cycle at a winter cycling clinic for women and nonbinary folks. Hear from winter riders about their tips and tricks for staying warm and staying upright. A mechanic will be on site for all your winter bike maintenance questions (including the best way to store your bike all winter long if that’s your jam). Enjoy door prizes and refreshments while chatting with other attendees about their winter bike experiences. A discount and coupon for a free winter bike safety check will be provided for attendees.

And if you don’t plan to ride at all this winter, we’d still love to see you out at this event, so grab a friend and walk/bus/drive to downtown Kitchener! We also want to hear from you about how not having safe infrastructure in the winter might make your life more challenging (ie. tripling your commute time in winter).

Register online for this free event, or learn more on our Facebook event.
