Join our Advocacy Committee
We can’t bring about meaningful change without a strong volunteer base. There’s only so much that a handful of board members can do.
Volunteers provide input on issues that matter, contribute ideas and efforts towards cycling advocacy. Sometimes its as simple as meeting others who share the same concerns.
Whether you already have experience in advocacy or are just starting out, everyone is welcome!
We meet once a month, on the second Wednesday. No commitment required.
Other ways to get involved
There are many ways you can volunteer:
- **New**: Volunteer to take a municipal candidate (for the upcoming 2026 elections) on a ride to showcase bike infrastructure in your ward. Read more about the initiative here, and sign up on this form if you want to volunteer.
- Help upload our bike marking map to OSM so it can be used through apps like the Cycling Guide.
- Collaborate with other organizations in the Region to host rides. We can help you plan and lead the ride, if you have an initiative in mind.
- Perform a budget analysis to identify spending for active transportation in the Region.
