Rides with candidates

Ahead of municipal elections, CycleWR volunteers take local candidates on bike rides through their wards to show them firsthand what works well and what doesn’t in the existing cycling infrastructure.

We had 60 candidates sign up for our Rides with Candidates program – more than four times as many as 2022! Find out where they rode and the discussion they had with their ride volunteer by clicking here.

Candidate survey results

We had 52 candidates fill out our candidate survey. Click here to see their ideas on general plans for the next four years, but also specific initiatives that CycleWR is championing.
