Sick Kids Hospital and Toronto Metropolitan Univer Sick Kids Hospital and Toronto Metropolitan University published a study in July 2025 that found speed cameras reduce speeding in school zones by 45%.Linda Rotham, a TMU associate professor in the school of occupational and public health, told reporters speed cameras are "extremely effective" in reducing speeds and they hit the "fastest speeders."Email your municipal officials and MPP to let them know that speed cameras save lives.#ONpoli
