Our Advocacy initiatives for the 2026 municipal elections
We have two major initiatives to help you understand the candidate positions about cycling issues:
- CycleWR Candidate Survey: We conducted a survey asking candidates their views on important cycling issues in the Region.
- Rides with Candidates: Volunteers take municipal candidates out on rides/walks across wards in the Region of Waterloo to experience the cycling network, and discuss policy, safety and the future of active transportation.
